Every Common Bond shirt is printed using direct-to-garment (DTG) technology. With proper care, your shirt will maintain its look, feel, and durability over time.

Follow the guidelines below to get the best wear out of your gear.

Washing Instructions

  • Turn garment inside out before washing

  • Machine wash cold water only

  • Use mild detergent

  • Wash with similar colors

Washing inside out protects the printed design and reduces friction during the wash cycle.

Drying Instructions

  • Tumble dry low heat, or

  • Hang dry for best results

High heat can break down the print over time. Air drying will extend the life of both the fabric and the design.

What to Avoid

  • Do not use bleach

  • Do not use fabric softener

  • Do not dry clean

  • Avoid high heat drying

  • Do not iron directly on the design

These can damage the print or cause premature fading.

Ironing

If needed:

  • Turn shirt inside out

  • Use low heat

  • Do not iron directly over the printed area

First Wash Tip

For best results, wait 24 hours after receiving your shirt before the first wash. This allows the print to fully settle into the fabric.

Longevity Tips

  • Wash less frequently when possible

  • Always wash inside out

  • Avoid overloading the washing machine

  • Hang dry when you can
